“This year marks the year of Ronald Bloore's 100th Birthday. In celebration
of his centenary, this exhibition will cover a vast selection of Bloore's
works. A complex and diverse artist, Bloore made a large mark on Canadian
art history, not only with his artwork but as an educator, commentator and
past director of the Mackenzie Art Gallery. This exhibition aims to explore
the vastness of his art-making career, with careful attention to paintings,
drawing, and sculptures from as early as the 1960s to the 2000s.”

These black Sumi ink works all hung in the Ink and Iconography show at the Rumi Galleries in Toronto 2023. And almost all of the Sploores were in the Journey Through Time exhibition at the Art Company in Toronto in 2003. The two oil on paper pieces showed at the Winchester Gallery in Victoria in 2008. The exhibition histories of the large oil paintings will have to wait for more research at the Bloore Archives in Regina.

This is one of Ron's NFS (Not-For-Sale) favourites which hung mainly in public gallery shows, sadly none yet featured on the site. And it hung in his own two homes in Toronto.
