At The Robert McLaughlin Gallery
We embark herewith on a new series of pages, Bloores in public and corporate collections. The inaugural page is, appropriately, not too big but not too small either: the RMG.
The McLaughlin Gallery is located in downtown Oshawa, a city just east of Toronto. The RMG hosted a beautiful solo exhibition of Bloore works from September 20th, 2001 to September 22nd, 2002 entitled White Poems and curated by Linda Jansma. The show featured the six white paintings in the collection and nine paintings loaned by the artist.
On display at the opening reception, on Sunday afternoon, the 23rd, was a small computer. And on its screen was the debut of the web site, ronbloore.ca.
