Clownin' around at the Moore Gallery

Ronald Bloore stands at the entrance of the Moore Gallery beside his 6' by 4' "Oct.24-Nov.3,03", the show opener at that year's Christmas stable show, with his cap doffed and extended entreating alms to pay for its water-gilt silver leaf frame.

The painting was in the Art Gallery of Peterborough's 2005 show Ron Bloore at 80 and now resides there permanently. It can be seen here on the site.
